This site shares several aspects of the marine turtles´ lives. The site continues to be updated, though sticks with basic technology to reach as wide an audience as possible. The information is valid and useful. For current research in other areas of the ocean, supplement with additional resources.

Description:

Turtle Trax shares the stories and research of marine turtles. Based out of Hawaii, Turtle Trax also raises awareness of the species that are threatened or endangered. A "Kidz Korner" shares stories, information, images, art, poetry and ideas for involvement in helping the turtles.

Possible uses:

Teachers can find many images of marine turtles to share or project for students. Read the stories of many individual turtles and learn about fibropapilloma tumors that are affecting many of the world´s turtles. Learn about ways to help and support turtles through volunteer opportunities, donations and "Adopt a Turtle" programs.
