This is a great tool to help teachers have all the websites needed for research or for their own lesson planning all together. It helps eliminate time students spend searching on the Internet for research. Teachers can identify useful resources and have them ready for students to choose from. The site offers a tutorial to learn how to use the tools.

TrackStar provides tools for teachers to organize websites to use in teaching. From the website: "TrackStar is your starting point for online lessons and activities. Simply collect Web sites, enter them into TrackStar, add annotations for your students, and you have an interactive, online lesson called a Track. Create your own Track or use one of the hundreds of thousands already made by other educators. Search the database by subject, grade, or theme and standard for a quick and easy activity. There is a fun Track already made for each day of the year, too!"

Possible uses:

When planning curriculum, teachers can use this site to bookmark sites they want to utilize in teaching or with students. Teachers can also search through existing lists to find sites other teachers have identified as useful in teaching. Create quizzes and build a web page for your track. View the daily `fun´ tracks with students to learn history and other bits of trivia.
