This site is not affiliated with the Tower of London. The information and images seem accurate, but check with other sources, too. There is a kid´s tour that incorporates a penguin guide and the text is age appropriate. The kid´s tour is written in an informal manner, which may appeal to students but hopefully not put them off finding out more facts related to the content. There are ads embedded in the site. The information on some of the pages is split in two with ads in the middle. Sharing this site on a projector so that the teacher can steer the viewing to the appropriate portions would be useful, especially with younger students.

This site shares a slideshow tour, with lots of information, stories and a map of the Tower of London. There is also a kids' tour, ghost stories and fun musical accompaniment.

Possible uses:

For classes studying the Tower of London or the related history, this site provides many images, stories and historical information. Students can also do the kid´s tour on their own or in partners and develop questions for further research from what they read.
