Thinking Fountain A to Z
Recommendation:
The topics are often laid out with questions and answers. The bottom of the list says, "That makes me think" and lists directions one might head to find out more connected information. This inquiry style for page set-up encourages this type of thinking and questioning in students. Some parts of the pages are interactive, but this is not apparent. By clicking on some images you can hear audio.
Description:
Thinking Fountain is a collection of interconnected information. Find activities and ideas, galleries to share work, book recommendations and other surprises. View topics in theme clusters, mind maps, an alphabetical listing or by searching.
Possible uses:
Teachers can find topics connected to curriculum to share with students. Students can explore this site independently and discover topics they are interested in. Then they can explore those topics further on the site and with books. Share student artwork in a gallery on the site.
