Teacher´s Lab provides interactive activities and background information in four areas: The Science of Light; Shape and Space in Geometry; Patterns in Mathematics; A Private Universe Project. From the website: "The goal of the Teachers' Lab is to provide teachers and educators with a deeper understanding of commonly taught math and science concepts. Each lab will combine online activities with background information, interactive polls or worksheets participants can use in their classroom, plus links to related material."

Possible uses:

Classes can participate in the activities in any of these topic areas, depending on relevance to curriculum. Start off a unit through discovery and exploration of these activities or use them to complement lessons. These activities can also be available for students to explore simply for enjoyment and challenge.
