The activities on this site are geared for children aged 5-11. The graphics are simple, fun and clear. The directions are simple and clear. Audio of any part of the activities is provided by clicking on the sound button. The site does not contain any ads. The activities include a data recording space, which may be a table, grid or graph.

Description:

Science Clips is a BBC television program and this accompanying website. The site offers 36 units that correlate to a British form of standards for elementary Science. Each web activity contains a quiz and a set of teacher resources that include offline lessons, activities and worksheets.

Possible uses:

Use an activity to complement a curricular unit, either in the middle or at the end. Use the teacher resources to teach a Science aspect in just a few class periods. Work through all the lessons to create an overview of Science topics. Use an activity on a projector to enhance a lesson. Older students could work with younger students to teach them about a Science topic in one of these activities.
