This site has a few good components that can be useful in a classroom. The interactive map and the images are good. The site simply lacks a bit in connecting Revere´s life to the Revolutionary War and other historical events of the time.

Description:

The Paul Revere House website shares this museum in Boston as well as information about Paul Revere, his life and his famous Revolutionary War ride. Find a biography and information about the Freedom Trail. Read Longfellow´s famous poem and learn from an interactive map. Activities for kids and resources for teachers are also a part of the site.

Possible uses:

Teachers can use this site as they teach about the Revolutionary War. The interactive map can be shared on a projector as students take an imaginary ride along with Revere. Images of the Freedom Trail can be shown when it relates to the history being studied. Students can use this site for research and teachers can use it as a reference. Workshops about Boston´s history, Paul Revere and African Americans in Revolutionary Boston are available at the house.
