While this site is aimed at helping students and teachers prepare for an exam in New York, the math concepts are relevant to most middle and high school math curriculum. The interactive activities are mostly multiple choice worksheet type experiences but they contain some graphics and animations that are visually appealing.

Description:

Math A provides online practice and resources for teachers and students to prepare for the NY State Regents Math Exam. Find practice activities and quizzes, interactive puzzles and games and study tips for students; lesson plans and other resources for teachers in seven areas of math. These areas include Mathematical Reasoning, Numbers and Numeration, Operations, Modeling/Multiple Representation, Measurement, Uncertainty, Patterns and Functions. Each area is broken down into skill subcategories and activities. Connect to Math B to find the next level of content with similar lessons and activities.

Possible uses:

Teachers can use activities during any related unit for student practice. Teachers can also find lesson ideas and resources. Students can use this site to prepare for the Exam or find extra practice and challenge problems.
