Description:
As a bee, travel through five areas of a park to collect pollen for the queen. Along the way learn about plants and plant reproduction. From the site: "Pollen Park endeavors to explain the complex process of plant reproduction in a straightforward manner; information is presented clearly and logically separated into obvious sections, enabling users to navigate freely, making their own relaxed decisions and discoveries."
Possible uses:
Use this site as a review or culminating activity to a study of plant parts, pollination, fertilization, seed dispersal and germination. Or have students visit each area of the site after studying that topic in class. Return to visit Bumbles the bee several times during the course of a unit.
