NIEHS Kids´ Pages
Recommendation:
This site has a lot of fun activities that contain little educational value. The stories are worthwhile to use in a unit on the environment. The articles are at an adult reading level. Teachers can use them as resources. The activities are fun and well done. For a science-based site, the musical resource is good. While the songs are not original recordings, accompanying music and lyrics can easily be integrated into the classroom to provide an interdisciplinary approach to a topic and to engage students.
