Recommendation:
The tools offered on this site are pretty incredible. They utilize technology in a very proactive manner to produce amazing tools for educators and students to use. Each project needs to be downloaded to the computer. Each lists the necessary computer requirements. The depth and variety within each project is thoughtful, connected and useful for classrooms.

From the website: "The NASA Learning Technologies Project (LTP) is NASA´s educational technology incubator. LTP funds activities and collaborates with endeavors that incorporate NASA content with revolutionary technologies or innovative use of entrenched technologies to enhance education in the areas of math and science." Additionally, all LTP products demonstrate one or more of three LTP pillars: 1. Interactive Environments; 2. Virtual Presence; 3. Immersive Technology Experience. This site is made up of these features: Virtual Lab emulates a scanning electron microscope; SVS (Scientific Visualization Studio) is a collection of visually intense animations on a global scale as well as samples up close; What´s the Difference is a compare and contrast tool for students; Math Trax offers visual modeling; World Wind lets you zoom in from satellite altitude into any place on Earth to experience Earth terrain in 3D as if you were really there.
Possible uses:
Explore these tools. Find one that is useful for curriculum. Download it, learn it and utilize it with students. Share amazing images, video and animation on a projector. Allow students to try each of the features, discover their passion and then continue a focused study.
