There aren´t any interactive components of the site, which is why it receives a 3, though the resources are useful for a unit on these topics. Description:

Kid´s Field Day is a site for learning about agronomy. Information and images are arranged into the following categories: GPS, Soil Pit, Rainfall Simulator, Weather Station, Weed Garden, Crop Garden and Wind Tunnel. The pages include text and photographs.

Possible uses:

Teachers can share relevant parts of this website on a projector. Enlarge the photos, take turns reading the text and discuss the implications for the environment and the economy. Students can also use the site for research.
