The incident at Harper´s Ferry is often discussed in history books. This site shares more about John Brown´s life and encourages students to think critically and form opinions about Brown´s choices. The site is easy to use and while it covers the topic well, it is something that can be utilized in just a few class periods. This site accompanies a PBS movie about John Brown. The video may be available at a library or is available on the site for $50.
