The site carries lots of ads - a subscription provides an ad free view. The site also has a point system to earn things. Both are avoidable and obvious but may distract students using the site. The activities are animated and fun with audio and sound effects.

iKnowthat provides activities for students in a wide range of topics. Teacher guides for each activity are provided and a guide. Activities can be viewed by grade level or topic and a teacher page shares the skills covered by each activity. From the website: "At iKnowthat.com, our goal is to help your child discover the magic and power - of lifelong learning skills. "The activities at iKnowthat.com encourage further exploration and learning about each topic. The learning is self-paced. There is no set way to experience an activity, and at every turn, further information is available on subjects. In addition to brief facts listed throughout the site - our `Did you know that...?´ feature - extensive detail on subjects can be found when the child clicks on Discover More buttons."
