The information is fairly simple and sparse. It does not qualify as a very useful science site. The games do not reinforce any learning but do have students using the mouse to point and click a lot. The graphics are simple and age appropriate.

Description:

A bird leads viewers into Creepy Crawlies. Children can explore information and activities about caterpillars, bees, worms, spiders and snails. Print activity sheets and utilize the glossary of terms related to all these backyard creatures.

Possible uses:

Use the components of this site when relevant to curriculum to add in computer and mouse use skills. Older students can help younger ones learn to point and click and the older students can also read the information out loud.
