The `Cybernature´ tool in the `Naturalia´ area of the `Nature Missions´ is an interactive research tool that students will enjoy. It´s most useful for fast facts about many animals and not in-depth research.
Description:
The Biodome is part of the Nature museums of Montreal. The Biodome shares exhibits of four biomes with visitors: the Tropical Forest, the Laurentian Forest, the Arctic and Antarctic, and the Saint-Lawrence Marine Ecosystem. The website shares virtual tours, information about the biomes and the plants and animals that inhabit them, and interactive online experiences for students called `Nature Missions.´
Possible uses:
Classes studying various environments can utilize this site as a resource or incorporate the interactive experiences into the unit. Students can find information and images about various plants and animals. Teachers can use this site to find images or information to include in a unit of study.
