The games on this site incorporate entertainment and fun with learning about art. While the depth of learning varies with each piece, teacher guidance can enhance the value of the games. There is an index of the art on the site, however there is not an index of the topics for each of the art games. Explore and discover which games are most useful for your class.

From the website: "Art Games is an interactive website designed to engage children in playful, interactive learning about works of art in the collection of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. The activities are designed for children in kindergarten through 6th grade, to be enjoyed by children playing on their own or with an adult companion, guided by instructions in English or Spanish."

Possible uses:

Teachers of younger students can use this site to allow students to explore art in an interactive manner. Students can create digital art, solve art mysteries, create art cards, learn about abstract art and compare art pieces. Connect to the art used in the games to learn more about each piece.
