Time has been taken at the University level to produce these lists of websites relevant to African studies. Images from countries flags to ancient art are available. Art, languages, travel and the environment are just some of the content covered. This is a valuable resource for planning curriculum about Africa.

From the website: "The aim of this guide is to assist K-12 teachers, librarians, and students in locating on-line resources on Africa that can be used in the classroom, for research and studies"

Possible uses:

Older students can use this site to find appropriate, credible internet sites for independent or group research projects related to Africa. Images on the site can be used by students to add to a report or project. Teachers of younger students can find images and information to enhance their curriculum. Teachers will also find links to additional resources relevant to Social Studies teaching.
