Discovery Education provides useful tools for teachers. While expensive, the video-on-demand service takes the worry out of classroom use of copyrighted materials and is available to an entire school. A list of titles can be viewed to evaluate the curricular relevance and usability of the materials. The free resources on the site are good and include a handful of interesting online learning adventures.

Discovery Education offers a video-on-demand service, multimedia products for purchase, health curriculum subscription and free teacher tools. Students can find homework help links, learning adventures, games to challenge their minds and clip art to use. The newest feature is the video-on-demand without copyright worries. In the teacher tools section, teachers can find online adventures that can be used with a whole class. These lessons include resources for teachers. Join 'Custom Classroom' and have access to Puzzlemaker, Worksheet Generator and the Quiz Center. Clip Art and Lesson Planner are two more tools available for teachers. Hundreds of lesson plans, written by other teachers, are searchable by subject and/or grade level. Teachers can find a library of multimedia products and investigate the video-on-demand service. Games, puzzles and homework help are available for students.
