Recommendation:
Math and Science concepts are presented in a unique, visual, interactive format that encourages thinking and understanding. Each Gizmo focuses on one skill and clearly explains, demonstrates and questions the viewer. Students can practice the skill multiple times before answering assessment questions. Students will be intrigued by the setup and sustained by the clear, colorful visuals. They will be empowered by using the tools themselves and exploring possibilities made real through the visuals.

Possible uses:
Teachers can use a Gizmo to demonstrate or introduce a math or science topic with a projector. Students can explore a Gizmo independently or in pairs and then complete the assessment that follows. Teachers can find Gizmos that relate to state standards and/or textbooks. On the 'Buzz' page, teachers can find ExploreLearning workshops about integrating Gizmos into curriculum.
