This site provides multiple perspectives and encourages critical thinking. It empowers students to find clues and act as historians to determine the truth. The images and sound clips are clear. The site incorporates experts' opinions, current images, timelines and primary sources in an interactive manner. The information and the presentation make this an excellent site! The teacher's guide provides detailed information and ideas for online and offline activities.

Description:

Determine fact from myth about the first Thanksgiving using this site. From the website: "As you work through this guide, you and your students will use the skills of historians to peel away the layers of myth and misconception surrounding 'The First Thanksgiving' and discover what might really have happened during the fall of 1621. Possible uses:
