Creating Music provides tools for students to explore and play with composing music. Students can 'draw' music and hear their creations. Puzzles provide play with melodic phrasing, cartoons allow students to conduct music with their mouse and other activities center around musical contours. From the website: "The goal of this web site is to provide an environment for children to experience creative play in the creation of music, with the same ease they have been able to enjoy with toys, drawing tools, building blocks, puppets, etc. In addition, special emphasis is placed on the written tradition."
