"MediaChannel is concerned with the political, cultural and social impacts of the media, large and small. MediaChannel exists to provide information and diverse perspectives and inspire debate, collaboration, action and citizen engagement."
Possible uses:
On the lower left side of the home page is a box with various tools, including a teacher's guide, to utilize. A toolkit for journalists provides guidance for journalism students and for general research and writing. Teachers can find articles and information for a specific media study (war coverage, women's issues, marketing to kids, etc.) Older students can use the articles and daily stories to gain another perspective about current events.
