4 of 5This site is simple and useful. There are ads by Google on the right side of the pages, but they do not distract from the activities. This site is a purely a vocabulary/dictionary site. The activities are basic spelling activities and do not include audio or sentence use.
Description:
The Internet Picture Dictionary offers labeled pictures in five languages, viewable by categories or by first letter. Five review activities are accessible for every dictionary page. From the website: "The Internet Picture Dictionary is a completely free, online multilingual picture dictionary designed especially for ESL students and beginning English, French, German, Spanish and Italian language learners of all ages."
Possible uses:
Language learners can use this site to review, study and learn new vocabulary. Students can learn new words and then use the five activities to review and test themselves. This site can be used by a whole class to learn new information or be offered as a choice for review when class time allows.
